What is STAR/CSF of Fort Worth?
STAR/CSF Fort Worth is a local scholarship program funded entirely by generous private donations designed to promote parent choice in their child's education. STAR/CSF Ft. Worth gives partial scholarship awards to K-8th graders who live in Tarrant County whose families meet certain income eligibility requirements..

Does STAR/CSF Ft. Worth give any college assistance?
No, STAR/CSF Ft. Worth only gives assistance to those students attending K-8th grade.

How do I know if I am eligible for a scholarship from STAR/CSF Ft. Worth?
There are similar guidelines for the STAR program and CSF Fort Worth. Both programs require your family to reside in Tarrant County and meet certain income requirements. Also, your child must be entering K-8th grade. Further, STAR requires students to maintain honor roll among other program guidelines.

How do I apply for a scholarship?
Right now we are only accepting applications for the waiting list for CSF Fort Worth. To be added to the waiting list, please email your name, address, total family income for last year, your child’s name, age, grade and whether they are currently attending private or public school. Emails may be sent to: starcsf@lycos.com

To apply for STAR, your student must meet our high academic standards as well as attend (or want to attend) a STAR school. In order to receive an application you must set up an interview with the principal of the school to get a letter of approval. You may then exchange this letter for an application at our office.

Which schools may I send my child?
A CSF Fort Worth scholarship may be used at any private school of the parent's choice.
STAR scholarships may only be applied to participating inner-city Fort Worth schools.
